Actually, I’m just now finishing Purgatorio. I’m glad I’m going for it. I am surprised that I was actually able to connect to the poem. That would not have happened without the author’s notes and Google. I agree it’s an incredible Classic. The Introductions weren’t particularly helpful. I got lost in them only a few pages into it. I went on and read the poems and got connected. The small font and weak font color against a dirty white page were difficult on my 64 year old eyes. I needed a very bright light to read comfortably. If it’s available on Kindle, I’ll do that if I ever read it again.
