I have the older Tenpoint Vapor and now have a safety post on both sides of the rail receiver. Having a safety post of both sides of the receiver is one less thing that I have to think about because I can go for either side on the hunt. However, I prefer to squeeze both safety posts together with my thumb and index finger across the receiver so I can slide into firing position and have full control without making anything sound, especially for close shots. Bam! It works great, a perfect addition.

Should be designed with the bow.

There should be no reason you should have to buy this as an add on. It should come assembled with the ability to use as left or right handed.
