Worked fine right out of the box. My only complaint is the app to see your shot speeds through blue tooth on my phone does not work.

used to compare speed of arrows with different weights - works well. Fair to moderately good with the App

Works well

Used this indoors with the light kit. Shot 4 different arrow weights and got consistent Measurements on all arrow speeds. All within . 3 ft per second on groups of 5 shots per group. The software paired very easily with an apple I pad as well . The voice communication was a nice feature.
