What a fun activity! Be sure to watch the 5-day/week long weather before ordering - it got really hot and I was worried the catapillars might not make it, but they were fine! We actually missed most of the chrysalid activity and all of the emergences due to our work/school schedule, but we will definitely do this again. My kids loved checking on how quickly the catapillars grew and whether they were emerging or not.

My daughter loved this! We bought the butterfly kit plus caterpillars. Every single caterpillar made it to their butterfly finale. The kid had everything we needed, with clear instructions. We will do it again!

All 5 of them grew into full adult butterflies. I’ve bought larvae from other places and I usually had one if not two, that would either not emerge, or would come out with a deformed wing. So this was a great surprise. The kids loved it.
