Feliks' Favorite Rotating Easel

A little bit of a learning curve

The easel is very flexible but requires some getting used to. There are many different positions for canvases of various sizes; it just takes a little time to figure it all out. Once I figure it all out, it should be one of the best, since it can be turned to any angle the artist envisions.

Worth it!

Spent loads of time window-shopping easels and felt drawn to the h-shaped wooden easel's classic look. But these presented the same problem I was already dealing with: having to rig a system that would allow me to move a painting up and down and tilt it from side to side in order to orient the surface area to the optimum position to paint without twisting my hand or forearm or both at an odd angle. I could tell that the Felix easel would do the job, but I worried about the tripod base being stable enough. And there was the cost, more than I really wanted to spend. But then, like using better quality paints and handmade brushes, it was an investment in my art and so I bought it. Upon opening the shipping box, its overall quality was immediately evident. It's robust. The tripod base is rock solid. Plus the number of ways it can be set up for different sizes is amazing. I could not be happier with my purchase. If you appreciate the idea of being able to position a painting surface at all sorts of angles to facilitate your painting, this truly is the only easel to get.

Game Changer!

I have a beautiful easel that I consider an old friend as it has been with me for years but I found the rotating easel quite interesting and I thought I would give it a try. Although Feliks makes everything looks easy, ;) I was intrigued by the way tight detailing could be made easier by using this easel. I ordered a couple of Feliks' brushes including the detailing brush and I am not disappointed. I was ready for a change and I have found that adding this easel to my studio and to my tool box is the best thing I could have done to help up my skill level. The new brushes are great but the easel is a must! Worth the dollars.. Thank you Feliks and family. Love your products, tutorials and website.
