Cold Weather Essential That Lasts for Years

Best base layer you can wear in cold weather. I bought two short sleeve Geotherm base layers back in 2007, and they still look and perform excellent. Money well spent. The fit is a little snug or tight, so if you prefer a looser feel, consider sizing up.

Best base layer ever!

Like the other reviews have said, this runs small. I get that base layers are supposed fit snug because they go under other layers but this was an extreme compression fit that was tight getting over my head. I returned a medium and got the large (I’m 5’5” @ 153 w/broad shoulders from years of hockey) and the fit was still snug but not compressive. Once I got the large the fit was way better. I layered this under the Midweight Marino Hoody (also ann anwesome piece) and a vest and did a 20 mile mountain bike ride on Thanksgiving morning when the temp was 28 degrees. It was perfect for the entire ride and I never felt cold. The layer is slightly thicker than my other base layers and that’s what sets it apart. Sleeve length was a little long on the large but I don’t mind because they never rode up on any of my rides. This is a perfect piece and I will be purchasing more in the future.
