Escape the Master Loop

VERY Disappointed

I perserverated on purchasing this package for several months but finally made the decision to give it a try after reading so many great reviews on these "Mystery Boxes". I have 8 grandchildren ranging in age from 5-19. All of them were involved and everyone abandoned the game before finishing the first envelope. It was very disappointing.....no colour....just alot of printed words that no one understood, Also so cheap that we required tape or glue (rather than stickers) to adhere pieces to the puzzle. I have kept the box intact and hope to lure them back later this summer but honestly this was a VERY disappointing activity! For the very expensive price, there should have been a WOW factor in the first envelope and it was a dismal failure.

My Teenage Granddaughters had a great time!

My 3 teen granddaughters (15 - 17) enjoyed solving the puzzles in the Escape the Master Loop Mystery. Some of the puzzles were more challenging than others and I did give them a few hints but for the most part, they were able to figure them out. They did it in one evening and said it was a lot of fun.

We were very disappointed.

I am writing to share my feedback regarding our recent experience with "Escape the Master​ Loop." The storyline did not seem to follow through. The initial letter sets out a mission to return something back in time, but once that location is found, the mission is not completed. Instead, the focus shifts to solving other ciphers that do not advance the the first objective of the story. I purchased this for my 11-year-old grandson, who is an avid reader and loves mysteries, but he ultimately lost interest. We had three of his friends and four adults with university degrees in math, science, education, and law assisting, and we still had to consult the website several times to ensure we were on the right track. This was our second Mail Order Mystery, but unfortunately, it will be our last.
