My Very First Games - Here, Fishy, Fishy! Magnetic Game

We enjoyed this game. Its a good one to teach about taking turns. My 1+ year old still cannot fish, but the 2+ year old can catch the fish quite easily. The wooden pieces are well made and the glitter is attractive.

Unexpectedly fun for my kids!

My family loves HABA games, so I bought this because of how cute the pieces looked. The first time we played it, I wasn’t sure about it because it is extremely simplistic compared to their other games that are more balanced and enjoyable for my husband and I as well as the kids. That all changed when my 4year old son asked to play with it on his own. He got his 3year old sister and 2year old brother to play with him and they sat on the floor for at least an hour making their own rules and taking turns fishing. I leave the game set apart from our other board games where the kids can reach it to play with whenever they want and it really works out. My oldest son says it’s his favorite. The pieces are exactly what we’ve come to expect from HABA; beautiful, high quality pieces with a good weight to them. Sturdy and absolutely adorable! I highly recommend this game if you have kids who like playing together.

There are a variety of ways to play this game. The fishing rod works great. A more basic version is just throwing dice and catching that color fish.
