The formula is true to its name. It is deeply moisturizing - I usually wake up with my facial skin feeling quite dry, but this keeps my skin hydrated all night, and I don't feel any discomfort when I wake up. It doesn't feel heavy and my skin seems to drink it up even though it is not a very watery formula.
