Travel Safer with Severe Food Allergies!

Definitely a must-have for traveling with severe allergies! I have traveled with these cards in both Portugal and Spain, and each time I used it, the restaurant staff were able to give me a clear answer as to what I could eat at the restaurant. This significantly increased my comfort level eating out at restaurants. The card is comprehensive, worded effectively, and well-laid out. It is attention-grabbing and highlights allergy severity without being overly-alarming, which I’ve found can push some waitstaff away from wanting to serve you anything at all. I especially appreciate that the card lists out all common tree nuts because many languages do not have an exact equivalent term for “tree nuts.” A tip for your travels: go straight to the source and ask the waitstaff to show the card to the kitchen staff! This avoids any miscommunication between servers and the kitchen.

Very thankful for Equal Eats allergy translation cards. I've used them in Japan and Greece, and I find that the servers always take them seriously.

Excellent ‘travelling with allergy’ resource

My 21 year old son travelled with them through multiple Asian and European countries during six months of travel last year and is presently travelling with a new set to cover additional Asian countries.
