The leash is made of very soft yet strong and durable material. Its length works great as I’ve tied a loop in the lower portion in order to give me a shortened handle and the longer handle loop for 2 ways of control while walking. I’m very pleased with its quality and ease of use. 2 in one ! I purchased 2 with matching harnesses. Compliments and control! Win , Win !!!!!
