Great varnish
I used this natural varnish to seal the acrylic paint on my house sign and it’s done a great job. It was so easy to use my 5 and 8 year old had a lot of fun painting and varnishing the sign.

Very easy to apply
I used this to varnish some wooden eggs painted with the Natural Earth watercolour paints (which was more of a wash effect). They turned out really well and I love the fact the wood grain comes through. The varnish is very watery in consistency so goes on really fast and easily. It also dried super fast. A little went a long way, I have the small bottle and you can see in the photo how much I used for a generous coat on twelve large eggs.

We’ll worth the setting time
Never used varnish like this - it smells so good! It applies very smoothly and sets nice and clear. I used 2 coats and left it a couple of days to set between coats. Full setting time is longer, maybe up to a week before it stops feeing slightly tacky to the touch - though maybe that’s because I was varnishing over chalk paint which is quite porous! Well worth the wait. Needs testing for durability over time of course- will get back in a year.
