Drosera venusta

arrival was on time, the drosera venusta looks to be in very good condition. I followed the potting instructions using the planting materials enclosed. i noticed when wetting the materials, gnats were present soon afterwards. I'm assuming this isnt intentional, and look at it as readily available food and a way to get the plant fed and acclimated to its new environment. overall happy with condition of the plant, not altogether crazy about the gnats, but all good.

Everything came well packaged and with everything I needed besides distilled water. Healthy and great looking plants that are doing well so far. They havent built up much sticky sap yet, but ive got all 3 sitting in small containers filled with distilled water and under some grow lights with my hydroponic plants so hopefully theyll get there in a few weeks.

Plant arrived from California to Florida in only five days. Was the first time ordering these plants online. Packaging was very thought out and well executed. All appear to be doing good after about one week of adjustment to the new environment. New leaf growth is looking superb! Second order already placed!
