Drosera madagascariensis is a lovely stem-forming sundew from southern Africa and Madagascar. The plant forms a long, scrambling stem topped with sticky leaves that catch insects. When given stakes to climb, D. madagascariensis can get well over a foot tall!

Most of the sundews came in great condition, though I haven’t had as much success shipping in paper towels as I have had with plants coming potted. It was generous of them to include the sphagnum moss, and it was very high quality sphagnum, but the D. madagascariensis is looking extremely rough and very much not like photos. Given that that plant alone is worth $30, I was not happy to open up the package to discover that.
