TRP DHR EVO - Gold

First off, the brake set is amazing. Coming from Code R brakes on my V4 Bronson this is so much better. Best way to describe the difference is the sram brakes feel like you’re pushing your finger into a cup full of playdoh whereas the trp’s feel like you’re pulling back on a carabiner with a ramp up at the end. The lever return is much faster on the trp’s than on the codes. So far, arm pump has been drastically reduced in the trp’s as well. I don’t feel like I have to run my levers out further and further as the runs go on because the power is fading. These brakes are so damn consistent it’s amazing they’re not more widely used. It’s like you took a shimano saint, gave it a consistent bite point, and replaced the “on/off” switch with a dimmer switch instead. The second part to this is that The Lost co really is the best bike shop out there. Between them and the Outpost, I’ve never felt more welcome and amongst natural friends than any other sport.
