Could Be Better

This AC adapter is fine when it’s brand new, but even with normal use it does not last very long. Any type of bending (like packing the adaptor for storage) will crack the wire in no time. This is the second time I’ve replaced the adapter in the past few years, and so counting the original adapter I’ve had three adapters. After the first replacement I was extra careful when handling the adapter, but eventually the wire broke where it connects to the adapter. The only reason I bought this adapter again is because it’s much cheaper getting another adapter than buying a new unit, whether this same one or another brand. The adapter needs to be built with heavier gauge wire rather than the thin gauge it currently uses. The blood pressure monitor works great, but the adapter, that’s a different story.
