Solid, useful, weird at first

The basket is well-built - quick-release pins make install easy, the capacity is ample, and fits a standard milk crate if you need the extra vertical space. Here’s the thing not mentioned…the basket mounts to the frame rather than the handlebars, so it doesn’t turn “with” you. It just sits there, fixed, while you steer around (below?) it. It’s a substantial piece of kit right in your sightline - that car-hood-in-your-periphery feeling is real for the first several rides. Not a flaw exactly, just a genuinely different visual experience than any bike accessory I’ve used before. You do adapt. Once you’re calibrated, it’s a great add. Solid construction, no flex or rattle under load, and the quick-release system means you’re not committed to having it on the bike every ride, though with mounting the headlight to it I haven’t taken it off once.

front basket

the basket just purchase interferes with the cables on the front when turning the handle bars far right or far left. solution?
