As much as I wanted to love this, for the UV factor and my horses benefit, it's just not going to work. I can't keep it on her no matter what I do. I've even attached it to her halter and she managed to get all of it off! She hates it. She lives in the original model, wears it 24/7 with no issues whatsoever. Not this one. She hates the part between the ears. She will only tolerate open ears it seems. I find this model to be more cumbersome and not as lightweight and easy. Unfortunately she has gotten it off 3 times, even after me tweaking and troubleshooting it each time, and now it's destroyed. I bought 2 of them, to have one as a back up. I'm going to have to stick with the original... But now I'm out a lot of $$ and still have to purchase a few of the original masks for the summer. I really wish she could wear the stronger protection though....

Love the muzzle inserts.
Muzzle inserts are wonderful and soft against your horses mouth. It extends the life of your muzzle too. Love every product I have ordered.
