AUDI A4 S4 Rs4 APPLE CARPLAY AND ANDROID AUTO INTERFACE

I went down the ‘self install’ route, thinking ‘how hard could it be?’ It was the right choice for me, as long as you do things in a methodical way, it really is plug and play. It wasn’t my first attempt, I’d bought a similar kit from Amazon, but that didn’t work out, one of the cables was completely wrong. The Cockpit UK kit was only a few ponds dearer and they asked for detailed information about the system in the car to make sure I got the right one - and I did. It came with pretty comprehensive instructions and took me about an hour and a half to fit - there was a lot of double checking on my part and great care not to damage the gear shifter when pulling the radio/hvac panels out of the dashboard - a couple of towels are all you need. Once fitted, it worked first time and really modernises the car, no more phone stuck to the windscreen or air vent. It’s a great product and it works very well.
