I have been shaving with conventional double edge razor blades for years, so I decided to try a shavette using the same blades that have served be so well in the years past. (Astra) I have used a straight razor before, so the handling of the Parker wasn’t anything new to me. I a word, WOW, what a great shave. The Parker feels good in the hand and is well balanced. The razor is very well constructed and I’m sure it will last a very long time. Is you are looking to dabble in a straight razor shave world but not sure if you want to drop down the coin for a conventional straight razor just yet, you won’t go wrong with a Parker SRX.
