I used the 75w lamps to replace the 50w lamps in the ceiling fixtures in a library. The room is dark with no windows and has dark materials, so I wanted to brighten the space up. Swapping from a 50 to a 75 should, in theory, provide a noticeable increase in lumens... However, the new 75w lamps do not appear any brighter at all compared to the 50w ones. So, though they turn on, there's really no reason to order them again. I will look elsewhere for some lamps brighter than the 50w ones I'm using.

Been looking for an outdoor landscape light like this that is more than 50W. The 75W is a little brighter but was hoping for a little more brightness. Overall great light for landscaping!!
