Best boots for them thick calfs

I brought these boots because my calfs be really thick so knee high boots are usually out of the question as they are too small or the tongue of the boot is so narrow. However these boots are amazing. These fit like a dream and they have such a wide tongue on them which is really nice. Plus they are comfy! But if it warm weather you will sweat but I imagine they will be great for colder weather. These would not fit slim calfs as they would swim in them. I'm also quite short - 4"9 so these make me average height and hit above the knee. Now I really want the shiny version haha.
