Jens Bogren Signature Drum Samples

Snare help

The kicks are straight forward and solid. The snares require blending, I'm not asking for the secret sauce, but perhaps some recommended pairings ( maybe numerical + top/ bottom names on the files) I've been watching the YouTube videos from bogren, I was just hoping to have a sample that sounded in the ballpark of the advertisement video, and that requires blending 2-3 samples to get there. I got good sounds and my monies worth, but perhaps not for beginners.

Disappointed

I bought this product thinking it was metal drum sample tracks so I could practice at home. This was not the case. I watched the advertising videos and was aware it contained technical knowledge that's not for me. However I felt, from my understanding of the advertising video, the "samples" were practice drum tracks. Maybe I'm not not technical enough as I am new to the digital realm when it comes to music production and amp sims. I e-mailed the company explaining this mistake. I asked if they had a product that gave me backing drum tracks and if I could get a store credit for this sample pack to apply to purchasing it. The person replied and explained I wanted something they called "groove tracks." They sent me video links that weren't super helpful given it wasn't for a novice. They also referred me to Krimh Drums saying it had a free edition. That seemed fine but if I wanted all the groove tracks in which I would need to purchase. I'm not interested in purchasing anymore and my store credit question was ignored in the reply email. I did really enjoy their guitar sims. However, in terms of drums, I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who is not very technical with drum production.

The beef

These samples sound killer. Beefy snares with just the right amount of crack and ring. Kick drums that smack. The included blend sample is pretty much just right as is. Using these in a mix right now.
