I love this knife. It is quick and nimble in the hand for defensive maneuvers, yet able to do other task easily. The leather sheath is great but I will need to replace it for an ambi since I'm left handed.

Very Good Bargain Blade

This is one of those good surprises you come across. This is a well made knife. I don't stab cars or beat rocks with my knives so I can't attest to the steel's toughness. The fit and finish is quite high and compares favorably with my 20 and 30 year old knives. There are no gaps or irregularities in the handle scales. The grind along the edge is even and straight. It comes sharper than heck. It just needs perhaps a few swipes from an Arkansas stone to polish it up a bit. Otherwise, it is ready to go.

I saw on YouTube a review by “411 Outdoors” where he praised the NedFoss Phoenix knife for its overall excellent quality, durability and strength in all the tests he puts his review knives through. I always trust this man’s reviews because he videos all of the tests as he performs them. I ordered two Phoenix knives and I ordered a third after I checked out the first two. Excellent priced NedFoss knives on their website. I gave my middle aged Son one of my Phoenix for his first fixed blade knife and he loves it!
