686 Men's Let's Go Tech Hoody

Best for heavy brush/abrasive environments

I currently own 6 of these tech hoodies after my first one, purchased in 2021 has withstood several SoCal seasons. I take this hoody hiking primarily and sometimes mountain biking. Its UPF 50+ rating makes it among the most protective sun hoodies. Where lighter/softer variants win at breathability and comfort, they lose at durability and protection. This hoody is best for environments where you need to prioritize durability, such as tight singletrack where softer material might snag and pill on vegetation or where you might constantly brush against abrasive rock when sitting or scrambling. The form is relaxed, not fitted but not loose. I stayed true-to-size (size small, 5'5 155 lbs, broad build, 37" chest). The fit makes me feel like I'm a cool desert dweller, so I even wear this out in town during a high temp, high sun exposure day

Great for running

Loving it so far! I like that the hood comes up to cover my neck so I don’t need a neck gator I’m 5”10” and weight 150. A small still fits loose but the arm length is great.
