Fantastic "Bang for Buck" Stove

Came from using a smaller Regency Insert, and we needed something bigger for our house. Picked up the 1800-I From Drolet (SBI) and am very impressed at what you get for the price. You can tell that the higher end stoves put a little more care into the "fit and finish" of their products. But you're also paying at lease twice as much for the big brand names so that's to be expected. With regards to heat and efficiency though, the Escape 1800 does literally everything that the equivalent Regency will do, but for half the price. Hard to ignore a deal like that. It puts out a TON of heat and the firebox itself retains heat very well too. Overall, very happy with this insert. Would 100% recommend.
