This item is as expected. It holds our basement door open just enough for the cat to get throug but not stick out into the hall. I definitely would recythis to others

Simple yet effective design. You don't see engineering like this too often. We keep 4 in the house for the rooms our cat frequents the most. They hold up incredibly well with frequent use.
