I love the smell, the packaging, that it’s vegan, and most importantly, how soft, tangle free and shiny my hair is!

Pricey & Worth It

I found Conscia a while ago thru a mention in Reading My Tea Leaves. I was interested but just could not get past the price or my bad experience with other solid shampoos. Last month Conscia, and a promotion they were running, got another mention in the same blog. OK. I was hooked. I ordered the full size Fortify set and the Hydrate mini set as my free bonus. I have shoulder length fine, thinning hair and sensitive scalp. The Fortify shampoo does a great job cleansing without irritating my scalp or frazzling my hair. The Fortify conditioner smooths without weight or grease. Although the stones are brown, they don't muddy my silver blond color. And the scent is delish. I have not used the Hydrate set yet, so no comment. Love the recyclable packaging and, as a gardener, am looking forward to planting the labels next spring. My one negative would be on the cloth wrappings. They look really lovely when I opened the box and, sure, they could be napkins and and and, but I think the paper wrapping is quite lovely on its own. That said, I do think this one of those pricey products that is well worth the cost. (If you could create a Midi size at some point, that might be helpful to those of us who gulp at the price and/or who are singles and shampoo only once or twice a week).
