I purchased a Trova security safe to protect valuable items, including my wedding ring. Unfortunately, the safe failed after just two weeks, locking me out of my belongings. After trying all troubleshooting options, customer service revealed a major security flaw: they instructed me to open the safe using a flathead screwdriver—something that can be done with basic household tools. This completely undermines the security the product is supposed to provide. To make matters worse, when I reached out to resolve the issue, the company refused to honor the warranty or offer a refund unless I returned the broken device—the very one they told me to damage in order to access my items. This response is not only frustrating but also disregards both their written warranty policy and basic consumer rights.
