Love it!
This Ukulele has Ben a lot of fun so far! Being able change the string height has been a huge thing for me.

New concert uke
A few small issues. Intonation isn’t perfect. I may need to have the saddle adjusted. And, I can’t get the tuner/preamp to work. Not sure how to diagnose that. However, it really is a lovely instrument- beautiful design with good feel and very attractive details. I play it side by side with my Martin soprano uke, but until I resolve the intonation issues, it’s not quite ready for showtime.

This is a fantastic instrument
Having said that (and I truly mean it!), I want to offer some input that I think would make it better. First, the edges on the body are rather stark. After playing for 30 minutes or so, I’ve got several lines on my inner forearms. I know you’ve engineered a guitar to alleviate this issue. Maybe just a binding to soften the edge but I think it’s a problem. Also, side-dot markers. When I’m using a slide, my hand covers the fretboard inlays, making it harder to find my note. A minor issue, admittedly, but a pretty cheap and easy fix. Also, your guitars promote a straight string path from the tuners to the nut, but that’s not the case on my uke headstock. Tuning can be a might sticky and I think it’d be less-so with a straight path to the nut. The last suggestion you may already have addressed. My preference is low-G tuning, which requires a different string. I forgot to ask when I placed my order but, if not, you should offer a low-G option. Kala adds a few bucks to cover the nut adjustment and it’s not that big a deal for me to just do it myself, but I’d have ordered it this way if I’d had the option. BUT (and this is the last “but”), I really love this uke. This is my 4th and my favorite. The tone is gorgeous. I’m gonna pick it up the moment after I hit send. I really like your company and your products. I hope my input can make them even better. Thanks for listening.
