50 Animated Years of LUPIN THE 3rd

The content on the page was everything i hoped for, and the pages themselves were quality. Overall, a well designed, well-made product, and an absolute must-have for any ling-time Lupin fan.

Great book but a few inaccuracies

The book was great, but there were a few inaccuracies with regards to some information. As a big Lupin 3rd fan, I know a lot about the characters and their signature weapons or that lupin is supposed to be half French and half Japanese. Fujiko's gun is a Browning fn 1910, the book refers to her gun by its bullet caliber. I never seen lupin use a mauser ever in the anime, if you have a pic to prove me wrong, I'll concede. The 3 most signature considared weapons for fujiko are the before mentioned, Browning fn 1910, and an MP40 or machine gun in general. She has also been seen using a kind of derringer. I wish more info and pictures were available about the opening and endings of the various shows. I would have also liked more info on the music by yuji ohno and the different voice actors over the years. Also a minor gripe is with the use of the english dub episode titles for the part 2 episode guide, instead of using the Japanese sub translated titles, or both titles. You might think by this review, that I hate this book, but actually I love it, and just wanted to point out some inaccurate information and give my criticisms on some things to add. Trust me, if that Lupin 3rd RPG is still planned to be made by magnetic press play, or there's some other Lupin 3rd related products, I'll definitely be looking forward to buying them.

Lupin’s lush history

I really enjoyed getting this piece of Lupin the 3rd history in a lovely hard bound edition. Enjoying going over parts of the history that I may not have been privy to. All thanks to an arcade game called Cliffhanger that combined the elements of “Castle of Cagliostro” and “The Mystery of Mamo” films in a Dragon’s Lair style of play. Excellent!
