Adoration Journal for Kids

I like the concept of this book very much, but I don’t understand why the illustrations of most of the saints (and even the Baby Jesus and Blessed Mother Mary) have them looking as if they’re wearing heavy eyeliner and fake eyelashes! The illustration of Jesus on the front cover looks very much like Jonathan Roumie. While I’m a big fan of The Chosen, I don’t necessarily want to reinforce that Jesus looked like the actor. I probably will not use this book with my catechism students.
