Evolution of Glencarin

I'm an enthusiast who works on the corporate business side of the distilling industry, focused on bourbon (but always dabbling in scotch, rye, Japanese / American / Indian malt, and tequila) . After trying everything from a Glen, Norlan, rocks, wine glass, copita, and Neat glass, I realized I wanted the perfect mix of a Glen/Copita/Wine glass. I took a few industry members to various tasting bars to try whiskeys of all different proofs and backgrounds between the Glen and Bennuaine. By the end of the week I had seasoned tasters, connoisseurs, and bartenders asking me about the Bennuaine. I was very impressed how it accentuated the best aspects of barrel proof bourbons like E.H. Taylor BP and ECBP without overwhelming me with the flaws and ethonol of certain whiskeys. Will keep traveling with it for weekly work trips.

They are very lightweight glasses, yet durable. They present very well and make it easy to examine the qualities of a spirit.

The new Glencairn

I have a bunch of snifter glasses, Glencairns, Norlans, etc. This has now become my favorite due to how lightweight it is but at the same time it doesn't feel fragile. I will be recommending this to all my friends who are looking into getting new snifter glasses.
