Camille Silk Lace Maxi Robe

Runs small!!

Unfortunately, my experience now with three silk pieces from the brand is that they are stingy with the fabric. This wouldn’t be so bad if you’re a small or a medium and you can size up, but I am a large/XL and then all of the other fabrics from this brand that fits beautifully or even nice and loose like I prefer. Unfortunately, with the silks you need more they run very small and the fabric is delicate with no stretch so you’ve got nowhere to go if you are an XL. I ordered this beautiful robe in the largest size which is XXL and it barely reached around with maybe an inch or two overlap. This is not the correct fit for a robe. If I sized up, it should fit very generously instead it fit like a size 12 and I’m a 14/16. Again, if you size up, it shouldn’t fit like a size down. Other than that, it is lovely, but I had to return it. I hope they correct this situation again it’s some more expensive fabric, but they’re charging accordingly.
