Saved our sleep in hospital

My little girl was admitted to hospital with RSV & needed to be on oxygen support for 8 days. While we were there her sleep suffered terribly - the room was brightly lit and the blinds were transparent! Plus all the beeps and lights meant she struggled to fall asleep and stay asleep both day and night. Cara kindly sent us this cover for her hospital bed and it transformed her sleep! We were so grateful - it fits a paediatric hospital cot bed and is excellent at blocking out light and creating a sleep environment that is conducive to sleep - essential all the time but most especially when in hospital and/or unwell. I highly highly recommend for your cot bed at home if you don't have good blackout in your baby's room, or for taking on trips where you can't guarantee a dark sleep environment for your little one (on holiday, other people's houses or even hospital - hopefully not the latter but it's always good to be prepared!) In general, love it.

We really are big fans of snooze shades and find they work wonderfully for our baby (now 11 months). Our only tiny issue is that, in the hot summer months, we really like to have a fan on near his cot to keep him cool and give him a bit of a breeze. I absolutely get that snooze shades are air-permeable, which gives me so much reassurance, and also that this means they are safe to use in hot weather. The only thing is that the 'breeze' doesn't get through the fabric. We've tried again and again but we just can't feel it through the fabric, even when it's close (and usually we don't like it too close anyway). So that's our only issue - we personally find we sleep a lot better with a bit of a cooling breeze and would like the same for him as he can get a bit hot (we don't have air-conditioning). Other than that, they are just marvellous, I honestly wish they made them for adults as well - I think I could do with one :-)

Fabulous as expected

We use the snoozeshade every day for our baby who is still in our bedroom. Although not always zipped up it helps massively that she's not able to see the bedroom as it disctracts her less. We love it!
