Just as Advertised

I bought this for a couple of teen brothers. I tested it and set it up. I am 60+ and use readers and as such I could not use the box goggles as I cold not get them in focus. Not a dis on the product just an observation. The quad flew well inside and with very light winds outside. The E8 controller was comfortable enough for my pinch flying.

Great, with a few limitations

The drone itself is great. The drone is durable if you fly it into walls or if it drops from a height, but if it flies into grass, parts will become greenish. The only thing I didn't like about it was the online instruction manual is confusing and occasionally blatantly wrong. (For example, they said one switch did something completely different than what it does.) The screen is good, but I prefer using it without the goggles/headset. When I was younger, I didn't get motion sickness, but now I do more easily. You definitely need to get lots more batteries to use this for longer than a few minutes at a time. If you fly line-of-sight, you might wear down your batteries quicker because you don't see the battery level in front of you, and you'll use them past the recommended stopping point.

Great way to learn!

Been flying DJI Mavic Air for a few years, but let's face it, hard to crash out of the box. It's a bit faster in sport. But still mild. Recently got a set of RE goggles, and opened up a new world! I'm hooked!!! This little guy will help me a lot, can't wait to step up! Ed
