Best Reeds so far ?
Been playing Vamelo and GGA brands of reeds for the duduk. Most experience is with Vamelo, long life period of 1 year when playing each day. GGA might have a slight edge for the quality of the sound, but tends to slip after 6 months. Only played a few times so far on two reeds sent to me from dudukhouse with a fast shipping from Canada. The build of each reed is super slick and steady. The sound is in-between the best aspects of other brands. I can play hard model as well and find this to sound better when recording as well. For some reason the medium model is sold slightly more expensive, cannot tell if there is a sound quality difference or not with medium. But, I recommend the hard model for duduk.
