My daughter who is 2.5 and son who is 6 both love it. I got the Aussie icons mat and it's awesome. I highly recommend. It is worth every single penny!!

Great for learning letters and coloring within the linesfor my 3yo

Our son is 3,5 yo and he just started to learn gripping the pensil for writing / drawing. He was frustrated because it was really hard for me. Being bad at something and sticking to it is very challenging for my son. But the texture of this mat actually makes the writing really more accessible for him. I think it's because it is less "slippery" than paper, somehow it's more soft and silky. Now he is obsessed with practicing the letters on his mat and coloring the associated picture and practicing the sound, like "sssss for snake!" - that makes him so much more confident about his writing, without even noticing he is writing, just by playing. Even the wiping at the end is part of the fun :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
