I ordered this nib as an alternative to the already perfect stub I purchased with the pen and now it’s the smoothest extra fine nib I own.

Good to have the option of changing nibs on one pen - versatility without the cost of a whole new pen but retaining Conway Stewart quality.

Very Scratchy

When I buy a fountain pens or a nib in this case, I expect it to be good right out of the box. When it is not, I can't help but to be disappointed. The nib that I received was too scratchy to be used. The edges of the tines were not well finished and polished. It can be fixed however. So I just put it away for when I have time to do so.
