Rest EZ® BBQ Blanket

This is a gift, too early to tell.

My son is big time into smoking. I purchased this as a birthday gift, July 4th, so once he gets back to me and lets me know how he likes it I will review again.

All tucked in.

My husband was so excited when his Rest EZ BBQ Blanket arrived. He immediately went to work on his 5 day brine, Pastrami Brisket recipe. 6 days and several hours later, the brisket was ready to be tucked inside the BBQ Blanket. He left it in the blanket to rest for about 2 hours and when he took it out, it was perfectly warm and sooooo tender, juicy and absolutely delicious! He's totally sold on this blanket and immediately asked me to order one for our son-in-law!

Thermal bag didn't seem to insulate all that well. Overpriced.

I rested a foil pan of beef short ribs in this bag in a cooler for a few hours. It really didn't seem to keep them very hot. For the price I expected a more robust bag. The lining seems quite thin and flimsy.
