Beautiful Mantilla

This is my first mantilla and it is beautiful. I received multiple compliments which was wonderful since it was my first time wearing a mantilla. My only question/concern is the clip is so far back. I ended up using bobby pins to place where I wanted. A friend told me she removed hers and sewed it on closer to the top of the veil.
