Absolutely love them, although took some breaking in

I love these, super comfy once you break them in, easy to dance in (the street sole is so helpful when dancing at place with sticky floors) and I’ve gotten lots of compliments. I was worried about sizing because I have wide feet, and wasn’t sure how much these would stretch out so ended up going with my street size instead of my dance shoe size. They do stretch - now that I’ve broken them in I probably could have gone a half size down but because the shoe has laces all the way up my foot is still secure. Only downside is that breaking them in was a little painful because of the metal hooks (my fault, I tied them too tight because I’m lazy and didn’t wanna keep redoing them as they stretched). Figuring out the right tension to tie the laces and stretching them out did cause some bruising on my foot around the ankle where the inside of the metal hooks pressed in. I still love the boots and recommend them and now that they’re broken in I don’t get any bruising/pain from that. Just wanted to mention that so other people could be more careful than me. Overall absolutely loved these so much I went out and bought another pair of Yami shoes not long after. Hands down my favorite brand for dance shoes, the extra money for comfort (vs the budget brands I was buying before) is 100% worth it!
