His only desire is to see his vision of a new resort built deep in the Canadian wilderness and the money that the resort will make. The Iñupiat will no longer stand for the ways of these men and they call forth an ancient evil to exact their revenge. I love folk horror and ancient entities. There is so much darkness and evil attached to ancient beasts and the fear can be felt as it arises from the deep. The revenge is brutal and there is no escaping the creature of old. It amazes me how so much detail and character development can be written into a short story. Very well written and entertaining, indeed! The Emerge Series of short tales of horror being put out by D&T and Godless every month are ones I look forward to reading, discovering new and upcoming authors, and looking forward to future releases!
