decent bib tights

I bought these a year ago but finally wore them recently. Was 25F out. In terms of warmth they were decent. These tights are rated to a low of 20F so that seems to be true. I am 6ft 1in, 185 pounds and a large is a good fit. They do fit tighter but this seems to be necessary for the colder weather. The chamois is ok, does the job. My rides are mainly for fitness so I am out for maybe an hour. Really cold weather is just difficult for longer rides. Getting to colder weather just requires more layers so I think these bibs might be end of line for cold weather performance without beginning to layer.

Nice tights but

I purchased along with FRC Thermal and GShield for comparison, with the intension of keeping just one item. They really look like they would provide protection as advertised but the recommended size (L) for my height/weight was a little short in the leg and too snug/restrictive for my liking. The fabric doesn't have as much stretch as the the other products. Excellent quality but overkill for my mid 40's/dry riding, ended up going with the GShield in L.

Expensive but worth it

These are great tights for low temperatures. They are warm, fully windproof, comfortable, and fit well.
