Portenta Machine Control

It’s taking some time to figure out multi axis step direction signals. The card has power to do it- just not easy pin out for “machine control” like the name suggests. I do like multi encoder input onboard, very nice. Prefer to not need modbus motors- that adds considerable lag time in response.

Horrible product that doesn’t communicate with the software as promised. Purchased a additional “license “ which did nothing! Complete waste of money. The ladder logic programming promised does not work and is the most clunky program I’ve ever used. This borders on fraud.

While attempting the initial connection to the PMC, something on the board failed and the resultant electrical surge/short fried my laptop. 0/10 would recommend.
