This has a nice sheen and lays pretty well. I wouldn't recommend it on a PLA 3D without primer, contrary to what some people advocate. I tried it on PETG and while it may seem to adhere slightly easier you really should sand and prime first. It works well and looks great after curing. It applies a little liquidy and you have to work to get good coverage but it looks great.
