I have used them not for any existing elbow injury but more to prevent one from happening. My training mat is really firm and the surface is quite rough against my elbows whenever I'm doing planks so the sleeves ensure I don't get burn marks.

Elbow sleeves

Give a surprising amount of support and a lot of warmth to the joint. Not too hot or sweaty or restrictive like neoprene can be. A word on sizing tho. I went an XL and fit is perfect. My elbow joint measured 34cm (XL is 32-37cm). Wouldn’t want them much tighter. Perhaps a XXL should be an option for the really big boys?!
