The most comfortable FR pants
I have been looking for comfortable FR pants for a while. I tried pretty much every single pair of pants in the women’s and men’s sections of multiple work clothes stores. My colleague suggested Truewerk pants as the most comfortable pants in his experience. ARIAT Women's Fr Stretch Ella Jeans in 27Long fit me very well. I ordered Truewerk FR pants in a 30/34 size. The waist is a bit too wide, as expected for a men’s model, but they actually stay on. Length-wise, they are slightly longer than expected, but I expect them to shrink a bit after the first wash. They are very comfortable overall, including in super hot Texas summer weather.

Great comfort
The flexibility and comfort are on par with T1,2,3 pants that I love. The fit is off, I tried 3 different waist and inseam combo and all the same too long too baggy too much fabric. Model the fit off the T series and you have the best FR Pant on the market Also need an option without the knee pads…. I went from a 34 to 30 on the inseam and the knee pad pouch was still below my knee. When you’ve been wearing T1s all summer you’re looking for the lightest FR pant you can find…. Knee pads just add weight and bulk

3 pairs of the FR Werkpants
Im a welder and it gets hot in the shop. I’ve had Duluth, Vertex, Carhartt, Dickies and just regular jeans. All of which do not breathe or stretch like the werkpants. They are on the pricey side but so far they’re worth every penny, I’ve got at least two co-workers mulling over the purchase. Will buy again for sure.
