Haupt Lakrits Swedish Extreme Salt Liquorice Bundle

Very strong!

Wow! The straight extreme salt ones definitely hit you in the face. The strength seems to primarily come from the salmiac salt dusting. The inner fondant is much milder, though the high strength remains through most of the chew. I can see how anyone not accustomed to sharp salmiac flavors would find the extreme one unbearable. For me, it's quite fun, though no more than once a day. --- The chocolate-coated one is a different story. Most of the extreme sharpness is gone, replaced by a smooth chocolate. These are actually super delicious and should be fine even if the extreme variant was too much. --- Surprisingly, I'm not sure the extreme variant is actually the strongest salmiac in the world. I tried small pieces of an "Icelandic" salmiac 10 years ago that tasted like you were eating stomach acid or something. I wonder if those are still made. --- Anyway, the Haupt Lakrits folks sure know what they're doing!

Tasty! But takes s little bit to acclimatize to the extreme flavour

I love salt liquorice but was in shock with the first bite.....never had anything this salty. The combination with chocolate is heaven
