Mini HD Recorder with HDMI Cable

the recorder could do with some more specific instructions on the remote control what the buttons are for maybe a picture of the remote showing what the buttons are for, and why do I have to keep changing from HDMI to analog. I get a picture on the screen with HDMI input for a few days then it goes off saying no signal, so I change to analog input and the picture comes back for a few days then I have to go back to HDMI input very annoying . On saying that the recorder records very well.
